What prostate massage is

Prostate massage is the stimulation of the prostate gland, usually with a finger through the rectum. The prostate is a small gland, about the size of a walnut, that sits below the bladder in men and those born with one. It helps produce the fluid in semen, and it has many nerve endings, which is why some men find this touch pleasurable.

There is often some embarrassment around the topic, but it has nothing to do with anyone's sexuality. It is simply a matter of anatomy. Men of all orientations may be curious about it, and many never try it, and that is fine.

The medical side

Doctors examine the prostate for medical reasons, usually through a brief check called a digital rectal examination. In the past, prostate massage was sometimes used for a condition called chronic prostatitis. It is not a standard or proven treatment, and there is no good evidence that it prevents prostate cancer, despite what some websites may claim.

So be cautious. If you have an infection in your prostate, symptoms of an acute infection, haemorrhoids, a fissure, or prostate cancer, massage may do harm. Pain when passing urine, blood in your urine or semen, or new trouble urinating are reasons to see your GP soon. Do not try to treat these on your own, and do not book a meeting in place of a proper medical appointment.

How it appears on a profile

Where a lady lists it, it will usually be under prostate massage, and that will tell you she may be open to it. It is one of the more specialised things that you will see. An escort's rate pays for her time and companionship, not for any particular act. Each lady decides what she is comfortable with, and she can say no at any time. A lady who enjoys domination may also be comfortable with it, but you should never assume that.

Hygiene and safety

Care really matters, because the lining of the rectum is delicate. Shower thoroughly beforehand and use the toilet before you meet. The person giving the massage should have short, smooth nails and wear a medical glove or a finger cot. Use plenty of water based lubricant, and go slowly. Stop if there is any pain or bleeding. Toys should have a flared base, and they should be designed for this purpose, so that they can be safely retrieved.

Some infections can pass this way, so gloves and regular check ups at an NHS sexual health service make sense. If you feel unwell afterwards, or you have persistent pain or bleeding, seek medical advice and tell them what happened. They will have heard it before.

How to raise it politely

You do not need to raise this on the phone. Call us with her name and a time, and we check she is free, confirm the price and arrange the rest. Then, when you are both relaxed, say something like, I saw prostate massage on your profile, and I have never tried it, so how do you feel about it. Honesty about being new is always welcome, and it gives her a chance to say what she would prefer.
