What CIF means

CIF stands for come in face, meaning ejaculation on the face. You may also see it written as facial. It belongs with CIM and COB, but it tends to be listed less often than either, and it is one of the terms where you should be most careful about assumptions.

There is a simple reason it is rarer. Beyond the health issue, which we will come to, many people see it as a very personal matter. Some ladies are comfortable with it, and plenty are not, and neither position needs defending.

Do not read anything into its absence either. If you do not see it, she has very likely left it off on purpose. Asking someone to do something she has chosen not to list can feel like pressure, so it is better to focus on what she does say she enjoys.

Health and safety

The main concern here is the eyes. Fluid in the eye can cause irritation, and some infections, such as gonorrhoea and chlamydia, can infect the eye and cause conjunctivitis. Infections can also pass through contact with the mouth or broken skin. If anything does get in the eye, rinse it right away with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice, explaining what happened. Skin conditions matter too. Cuts, cold sores or irritated skin make transmission more likely, so it is sensible to avoid contact then. Keep tissues or a towel nearby, and make sure she can wash afterwards without any fuss. Regular check ups are free and confidential if you are seeing new partners, and condoms remain the safer choice for intimate contact in general.

Consent is the point

With this term, of all of them, consent cannot be assumed or implied. It needs a clear yes in advance, and anything less than that is a no. Doing it without agreement is a serious violation of somebody's boundaries, and in some circumstances it could be a criminal offence. If she has agreed and then changes her mind, that is the end of the matter.

Also bear in mind that a lady may have practical reasons as well as personal ones. She may have make up on, plans after your time together, or simply no wish to. No reason is needed.

Raising it politely

If her profile lists it and you would like to ask, wait until you are at ease together, and ask once.
